Despite a difficult school year beset with insecurity –gang kidnappings and holdups occur the length of the 100 miles from Port-au-Prince to Gonaïves– St Matthew’s completed the school year in July and promptly began building extra space atop the main building to accommodate an eighth grade.
It will be ready for the new school year, classes begin September 11th.
